Democracy Lab for Young Women

Our Democracy Lab for Young Women brought together a room full of curious, engaged young women ready to challenge ideas, ask difficult questions and help shape the future of women’s health.

We kicked off the day with our Innovation Team, who introduced the concept of health literacy and why it matters. From there, Member of the Danish Parliament Maria Georgi Sloth shared why women’s health became a key part of her election campaign, the conversations it sparked and the strong public interest the topic received. Her reflections highlighted that women’s health is gaining momentum - both politically and across society.

The discussions continued in our interactive workshop, where participants challenged perspectives, shared their own experiences and began shaping our upcoming Youth Statement.

By the end of the day, the room was filled with fresh perspectives, thoughtful discussions and bold ideas. Together, participants helped shape conversations that will live on through the Youth Statement and continue pushing the conversation around women’s health forward.

The Youth Statement is currently being finalised - stay tuned.
