About Nordic Women’s Health Hub
Nordic Women’s Health Hub (NWHH) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven NGO powered by a community of 48 engaged volunteers across the Nordics.
Our mission is to accelerate innovation, collaboration and market maturity within women’s health by connecting startups, researchers, investors, companies and policymakers across sectors.
Our work is centered around four pillars: Advocacy, Knowledge, Innovation and Partnerships, supported by cross-functional teams within marketing, communications and events.
Purpose of the Role
As a Designer Volunteer, you will help bring NWHH’s work to life visually by creating materials for our events, projects and initiatives.
From event collateral and brochures to presentations, merchandise and branded assets, you will translate ideas and information into clear, engaging visual communication that reflects the NWHH brand.
This is a hands-on creative role where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of design deliverables while collaborating with different teams across the Hub.
Core Responsibilities
Visual Design
Create engaging and professional visual materials for NWHH’s events, projects and initiatives.
Event & Project Collateral
Design materials such as brochures, trifolds, presentations, event signage, promotional materials and other assets supporting NWHH activities.
Brand Consistency
Ensure visual materials align with NWHH’s brand identity and create a consistent look and feel across projects, events and communication channels.
Creative Collaboration
Collaborate with teams across NWHH to understand their needs and translate ideas into effective visual solutions.
Merchandise & Special Projects
Support the development of branded merchandise and other creative assets that strengthen NWHH’s identity and visibility.
Ideas & Creative Development
Bring your own ideas to the table and help explore new ways of communicating NWHH’s work visually.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create and adapt visual materials for events, projects and campaigns.
Develop brochures, trifolds, presentations and other event collateral.
Support the creation of branded merchandise and other visual assets.
Collaborate with relevant teams on upcoming design needs.
Coordinate feedback and revisions with project teams.
Organise and maintain design files and assets.
Help evolve and strengthen NWHH’s visual communication.
Who You Might Be
You don’t need to tick every box. We’re looking for someone who is creative, curious and excited to contribute.
You might be someone who:
Has strong graphic design skills and a good visual eye.
Enjoys turning ideas and information into engaging visual communication.
Is comfortable working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
Has experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or other relevant design tools.
Has experience creating materials for events, campaigns, social media or organisations.
Is able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
Is proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of creative deliverables.
Has an interest in women’s health, innovation or building strong communities.
A portfolio or examples of previous work are highly appreciated.
